This event is designed to improve general practitioners and nurse practitioners understanding of the slit lamp and what is important when looking at eyes in an emergency care situation.
The event will begin with an educational presentation on the acute red eye delivered by one of our ophthalmologists. Following the presentation, attendees will move into smaller breakout groups for practical slit lamp training sessions led by a range of Auckland Eye specialists. Additional participating doctors will be announced closer to the event date.
