At Auckland Eye, we pride ourselves on offering cutting-edge laser eye surgery options, including SMILE Pro, LASIK, and PRK, ensuring a customised solution for your vision needs.

Understanding laser vision correction

Laser vision correction, also known as refractive surgery, is a revolutionary umbrella term encompassing various laser-based treatments that reshape the cornea. The procedure corrects focusing issues such as near-sightedness (myopia), astigmatism and far-sightedness (hyperopia), eliminating the need for glasses or contacts. This long-term freedom from visual aids is made possible by customizing the treatment according to the unique characteristics of each individual’s eyes.

Diagnosis and treatment process

To determine the most suitable option for you and your unique requirements, a comprehensive FREE laser assessment by one of our specialists is essential. Laser surgery is not universally effective, and the specialist considers general health and other factors before recommending a treatment plan.
