We are very excited to announce the opening of our brand new state-of-the-art consulting rooms and operating suite in Takapuna, North Shore.

From Monday 29 August 2016 the clinic will be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday at 3 Fred Thomas Drive, Takapuna.  Auckland Eye doctors working from the premises include Dr Stuart Carroll, Dr Dean Corbett, Dr Archie McGeorge, Dr Yvonne Ng, Dr Sue Ormonde and Dr Alison Pereira.

Prior to the opening  the site was formally blessed by Ngati Whatua Orakei Kaumatua, Matt Maihi  at a dawn ceremony, attended by staff and contractors on Friday 26 August.

The development of our  new clinic provides residents within the North Shore and surrounding suburbs, much more convenient access to our full range of ophthalmic services in a purpose designed and built premises.

The comfortable, modern facilities exude a welcoming atmosphere and  we are certain they will further add to the outstanding patient experience Auckland Eye is already proudly renowned for.

During design, the team at Focusplan addressed common difficulties  sight impaired often encounter. As a result, flooring materials, surface colours and lightening has been carefully selected to help guide patients through each space.

Thank you to everyone involved who supported the project.  The design and build process was efficient and straight-forward due to the outstanding efforts by all, and we are thrilled  to finally showcase the finished result to our valued patients.
