Auckland Eye is now offering VR (Vitreoretinal) Surgery at Takapuna
We are pleased to announce that, from 02 February 2026, our surgical retina ophthalmologists will perform Vitreoretinal (VR) Surgery at Takapuna.
The first iStent InfiniteTM surgery in Australasia was performed at Auckland Eye in July 2022 as part of a clinical research study being sponsored by GLAUKOS Corporation and led in New Zealand by Dr Dean Corbett.
The iStent InfiniteTM is an investigational device designed to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our clinical research department at research@aucklandeye.co.nz.
